One Piece: Getting to Know Bartolomeo, Who is Now Rumored to be Shanks Target!
Bartolomeo is currently the target of one of the Yonko, Shanks.
We know this in the latest chapter of the One Piece series. In chapter 1054 yesterday it was revealed how Shanks wanted to meet Luffy.
Even so, before he met Luffy they would do something first.
Shanks and his group plan to find Bartolomeo's whereabouts.
Shanks says that he wants to destroy Bartolomeo for what he did before.
It's not without reason that Shanks hunts for Bartolomeo's whereabouts and tries to kill them.
Because, this has something to do with the self-esteem of the Red Hair group.
In the cover image of chapter 875, it appears Bartolomeo burning the pirate flag belonging to the Red Hair group.
Destroying or burning the pirate flag is certainly a sign that someone is challenging the group.
And this is also what Barto and his group did.
Shanks of course considers what Bartolomeo did as a declaration of war. He didn't care that Barto was an ally of Luffy and also part of the Straw Hat Grand Fleet.
As long as it concerns the pride of the Red Hair group, then he will sort it out.
And what Barto did must have infuriated Shanks.
Who is Bartolomeo?
Then, who exactly is Bartolomeo?
The character first appeared in the Dressrosa arc. He is a big fan of Luffy and the Straw Hats.
About two years ago, when a thunderbolt saved Luffy from execution in Loguetown, Bartolomeo was among the crowd and was amazed by what he saw.
From then on, Bartolomeo started following all the news about Luffy and the Straw Hats.
After the great war at Marineford, Bartolomeo decided to stop being a criminal and start his adventure as a pirate.
He formed his own pirate group called the Barto Club.
One proof of how he idolizes Luffy's figure is that he had time to go to Dressrosa.
Bartolomeo is willing to go to Dressrosa to join the fight at the Colosseum.
He wants to get the Mera Mera no Mi and will give it to Luffy.
Bartolomeo himself is one of the people who believe that Luffy will become the next pirate king.
After the fight at Dressrosa, Bartolomeo became one of the people who participated in the formation of the Straw Hat Grand Fleet or the large Straw Hat fleet.
How strong?
The Bari Bari no Mi is a Paramecia type devil fruit that allows the user to cast a kind of shield, and turn him into a human protector.
The main power of his devil fruit is to make the user present a kind of protection, and he can use it for himself or others.
Kurozumi Semimaru is a character who is known to be the owner of this devil fruit.
As shown in Kozuki Oden's flashback, the shield issued by Semimaru was even able to withstand Kozuki Oden's devastating attack.
