5 Korean Dramas Most Eagerly Awaited by K-Drama Lovers in February



Since the beginning of January 2023, there have been lots of Korean dramas that have succeeded in keeping the audience captivated. 

Starting from the fantasy, romance, to thriller genres, they were able to achieve high ratings from the start of the broadcast. 

Many top actors and actresses have made comebacks, not only that, several K-pop idols have also appeared in several drakors that will be broadcast this year.

1. Holy Idols

Holy Idol or The Havenly Idol will premiere on tvN on February 15 2023. 

Starring actor Kim Min Kyu who has succeeded in making fans clamor in Business Proposal 2022, it tells the story of High Priest Rembary who suddenly finds himself in the body of an idol known to Woo Yeon Woo (played by Go Bo Gyeol). 

This romantic comedy drama is based on a popular webtoon and web novel with the same title.

 2. Taxi Driver Season 2

After a long wait, finally Drakor Taxi Driver season 2 will also air. 

Continuing the story of the first season in 2021, the television drama Taxi Driver season 2 will premiere on February 17, 2023. J

Friday (13/1/2023), SBSS officially announced the Taxi Driver season 2 broadcast schedule on its social media. 

Drakor Taxi Driver 2 again shows the heroic actions of taxi drivers from the Pelangi 

Team in eradicating crime, one of which is Kim Do Ki. Along with the announcement, SBSS also displayed a photo of the cast reading the script.

3. Islands season 2

After ending on Friday (13/1/2023) the Korean drama Island was successful in its first season, and it was announced that it would air its second season next month, on February 24 2023 to be precise, if there is no change in the schedule on TVING. 

The Prime Video streaming service stated that season two of Island will still be played by Kim Nam Gil as Van and Cha Eun Woo as Yohan.

4. Our Blooming Youth

Our Blooming Youth is one of the saeguk dramas that will air in early February. 

TvN confirmed that the drama starring Park Hyung Sik, Jeon So Nee and Pyo Ye Jin will start its first broadcast on February 6 2023 on tvN.

Our Blooming Youth tells the story of a Crown Prince (Park Hyung Sik) who suffers from a mysterious curse and falls in love with Min Jae Yi (Jeon So Nee), a woman accused of killing his family members. 

Then the seeds of romance grow between them.

5. Call It Love

The Korean drama Call It Love will air on Disney+ Hotstar exclusively starting February 22, 2023. Starring Kim Young Kwang, Lee Seung Kyong and Sung Jun. 

Tells about Wo Joo's (Lee Sung Kyoung) revenge plan for his father's dark lover, but he doesn't expect to fall in love with her daughter.

Call It Love will add to the successful Hallyu series on Disney+ Hotstar and join other dramas such as Big Mouth and Snowdrop.
