5 Recommended Japanese Dramas Starring Mio Imada

Mio Imada is a Japanese actress whose acting is unquestionable. 

Born on March 5, 1997, he is now 25 years old. 

Originally from Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan, Mio started her acting career in 2015.

Even though he hasn't been in his career for too long, Mio Imada with his capable acting quickly rose to fame. 

There are several Japanese dramas starring Mio Imada.

1. 3 Nen A Gumi: Ima kara Mina-san wa, Hitojichi Desu (2019)

3 Nen A Gumi or also known as Mr. Hiiragi's Classroom is a drama about an unobtrusive geeky teacher. 

His name is Hiiragi Ibuki (Masaki Suda).

Hiiragi took 29 of his students hostage. 

The hostage-taking took place 10 days before the students in class 3A graduated.

Slowly, the mystery behind this hostage-taking is revealed. 

Mio Imada plays one of the students named Yuzuki Suwa who is trapped in the class.

2. Hana Nochi Hare: HanaDan Next Season (2018)

Oto Edogawa (Sugisaki Hana) is a student at Eitoku school which contains rich people. 

Oto was also a rich woman, but because her father went bankrupt, she had to continue her life in poverty and continue to attend school in Eitoku.

Oto tries to hide her poverty from school. 

However, one of the members of C5, Haruto (Sho Hirano), finds out about it. 

C5 itself is the richest and most powerful group of children in the school.

Gataro joins the Sakura campus as a student in order to take care of the child. 

In college, Mio plays the character of Hiroko Yamamoto who becomes Sakura's friend.

4. Semi Otoko (2019)

This Japanese drama is about a girl named Yuka (Haruka Kinami) who rarely gets good things in her life and is lonely. 

However, one day, Yuka saves a cricket. 

The cricket turned into a charming man.

The cricket is named Semi (Ryosuke Yamada) and can only live for 7 days. 

Semi promises to make Yuka happy for those 7 days. 

In this drama, Mio Imada plays a character named Minako.

5. Waru: Hataraku no ga Kakko Warui Nante Dare ga Itta? (2022)

This is the latest Japanese drama starring Mio Imada as well as the first drama in which she is the main character.

Waru: Hataraku no ga Kakko Warui Nante Dare ga Itta? tells the story of Maririn (Mio Imada) who has just graduated from college and is experiencing the world of work.

Maririn was initially unreliable and placed in the least important division. 

She also meets a mysterious senior, Yuki Minegishi (Noriko Eguchi). 

Maririn and Yuki's personalities were completely opposite. 

Maririn is cheerful while Yuki is rarely expressionless.
