One Piece: This is Garp's Inheritance of Power!

Monkey D. Garp is a man who has the nickname of a naval hero and is also the father and grandfather of Monkey D. Dragon and Monkey D. Luffy.

Garp is one of the legendary characters in the One Piece story, besides Roger, Shiki, and several other characters.

Although not much information about Garp's past has been revealed, he remains one of the fans' favorite characters.

The figure of Garp himself rarely appears in the story, and only appears occasionally.

For example, when he learned the news about Big Mom and Kaido's alliance plan. Garp looked worried by the news, because he knew it would be very bad.

Garp once faced the Rocks pirate group in a historic incident, namely the God Valley incident.

In addition to successfully defeating Rocks, Garp has also often fought with Roger, so naturally he became the strongest navy.

Another proof of Garp's strength is that he was able to defeat Don Chinjao who had a bounty of 500,000,000 Belly with just one hit.

Don Chinjao is famous for his Haki ability, which allows him to destroy an island with just his head.

Garp's legacy

Based on what has appeared in the story, Garp does not have a devil fruit ability.

However, Garp has an incredibly powerful Haki. Garp mastered all three types of Haki, but so far only Garp's Armament Haki abilities have appeared in the story.

This is what then makes fans speculate about Garp's true strength.

This terrifying and extraordinary Haki ability seems to be a great legacy for his children and grandchildren.

We still don't know how powerful Monkey D. Dragon is, but we do know how strong and powerful Luffy is.

And in the fight against Kaido in Onigashima we can see how the Haki development of Luffy's figure.

Luffy himself didn't know at first that he had inherited the power of powerful Haki, until Rayleigh saw the potential in Luffy. In the time-skip moment, Rayleigh then taught Luffy all Haki techniques.

And now, Luffy has mastered almost all types of Haki, even he is able to use advanced Haki.

Because the grandfather has powerful Haki, it is only natural that the grandson also has powerful Haki.

This has also actually been "confirmed" in the story through the figure of Sanji.

After the big event at Enies Lobby, Luffy was resting at Water Seven when Garp came to see Luffy. This is Garp's first appearance in the story.

Seeing how terrifying and powerful Garp is, Sanji admits that he finally knows where Luffy's limitless power comes from.

Dragons Are Strong Too

If then the legacy of the power that comes from Garp can appear in Luffy's figure, it means that we can imagine how terrible the level of power of the Dragon figure is. So far, we still don't know how strong the Dragon figure is.

There must be a reason why Dragon is the most wanted criminal in the entire world by the World Government, and maybe this has something to do with Dragon's power.

Dragons might be so strong that the World Government side would not be able to deal with it alone. Because of that, they then spread "slander" that Dragon is the worst and most terrible villain.

Seeing Garp's legacy of extraordinary power to Luffy, of course, makes us curious as to how strong the figure of Dragon is. Let's just wait, guys, how the story continues in the upcoming One Piece chapter.
