One Piece 1047 Spoiler: 4 Characters Who Can Read Poneglyphs!

One Piece 1047 Spoiler: 4 Characters Who Can Read Poneglyphs!

Poneglyphs are one of the most important parts of the One Piece story, especially as the series nears its final years.

The Poneglyphs are some of the most mysterious artifacts of One Piece, with only one living person confirmed to actually be able to read the Poneglyphs.

In One Piece 1046, there is also a high possibility that Luffy will continue his journey to find the last Road Poneglyph.

So where and who is the owner of the last Road Poneglyph?

As is well known Road Poneglyph is an important clue to be able to go to Laugh Tale and so far in the story itself has shown three pieces.

The fourth or final Road Poneglyph is still a big mystery to this day.

According to one popular theory, the important inscription was most likely kept in the safest place, namely the Sphinx Island which was Whitebeard's hometown.

That last Road Poneglyph is a lost inscription from Fish-Man Island and dates back to the era of Gol D Roger.

In Oden's flashback it is revealed that on Roger's journey to Laugh Tale, the last Road Poneglyph was still stored in the Sea Forest of Fishman Island.

His position next to the poneglyph containing Joy Boy's apology to the fish-man inhabitants.

Well, here are four One Piece characters with the ability to read Poneglyphs:

1. Nico Robin

Nico Robin is the only person currently living in One Piece with the ability to read Poneglyphs.

Robin can read Ponegylph because she is from the island of Ohara.

Ohara is destroyed with the Buster Call as the nation learns the Void Age and the ability to read Poneglyphs. Nico Robin is the only survivor, and thus the last person to be able to read the Poneglyphs.

2. Nico Olvia

Nico Olvia is Nico Robin's mother, and a fellow citizen of the island of One Piece Ohara.

As an Ohara archaeologist.

She studied the Void Century and the Poneglyphs, as did many other Oharas.

Olvia is part of a group of sailing archaeologists who study the forbidden knowledge of the Void Age.

The group was later arrested by the World Government for this research.

Fortunately, Nico Olvia was able to return to Ohara and briefly reunited with Robin thanks to Jaguar D. Saul.

Unfortunately, Olvia and Saul ended up perishing along with the rest of Ohara that day.

3. Clover

As a scholar from Ohara, Professor Clover has the skill to read Poneglyphs, thus being one of the few people with the ability to discover the truth about the Void Century, and the exact location of ancient weapons.

Professor Clover can not only read the Poneglyphs, but also teach others like Robin how to do it.

Unfortunately, Professor Clover became the first person to die in the Ohara tragedy.

4. Kozuki Oden

One Piece 1047 Spoiler: 4 Characters Who Can Read Poneglyphs!

The Kozuki clan canonically be the clan that created the first Poneglyphs, so it was logical they would know how to read them.

However, this family knowledge ended with the death of Kozuki Oden because his son, Momonosuke, did not have time to learn it.

Many assumed that Robin would eventually teach Momonosuke how to read and write this language to restart the chain of knowledge, but that hasn't officially happened in One Piece yet.

Oden is shown to understand Poneglyphs in Skypeia and Laugh Tale, reading and writing in Poneglyphs on these islands.
