Rokka no Yuusha, There is An Impostor Among Us

Rokka no Yuusha, There is An Impostor Among Us

On this occasion, I will give a review to an anime that is arguably quite famous for its resistance, namely, Rokka no Yuusha.

For those of you who don't know, Rokka no Yuusha is an anime that tells the story of six new knights who inherited the power of the knight who previously defeated the demon Majin, Ichirin no Seija, will be chosen to face and conquer Majin once again.

At Majin's resurrection for the third time, despite having no special skills except deep knowledge of Majin and his men, Adlet Myer was still able to become one of the six chosen warriors, Rokka no Yuusha.

However, when they later gathered at the agreed meeting place, the number of knights who showed up turned out to be seven.

One of them must be an enemy in disguise, and since there is no way to immediately recognize him, the knights who are supposed to work together end up suspecting each other.

When it comes to presenting a mystery, there is perhaps no better way than this anime does, which is to leave the backstory at its simplest form, that six knights must come together to fight Majin.

He paves the way for the thrust of the core of the mystery to be felt strongly right away, what if the knights that were supposed to be six now turn out to be seven?

Who shouldn't be with them? Then once the mystery has begun, the anime cleverly drops hints bit by bit to keep bringing the viewer closer and closer to the answer.

But at the same time, it also manages to keep a thick veil around the characters to keep the audience suspicious and wondering.

Rokka no Yuusha, There is An Impostor Among Us

If there are only seven answer choices, how can the audience not immediately know which one is correct? The trick, of course, is to hide the correct answer among the wrong ones.

Therefore, the balance in the depiction of the characters in this anime is one of the main keys to the success of the mystery.

Of course, each character here has their own central role. But as the main character, Adelt is certainly more focused in this anime.

Although not always at the highest quality, more often than not, this anime shows very good animation, both in showing the characters fighting and in presenting the mystery, the anime's visuals always manage to do both tasks well.

That's the review of the Rokka no Yuusha anime this time, I hope this review will be one of the readers' considerations to make this anime a watching list of anime for readers.
