One Piece 1044 Spoiler: The Rise of Gear 5 Luffy!

The latest chapter of One Piece is finally re-released this week with many interesting and epic things. 

Previously, we saw how Kaido finally managed to defeat Luffy after Luffy was previously defeated by Kaido's kanabo. 

And the figure of CP-0 who appeared suddenly and interfered with their fight was finally killed.

Then, we also see how a unique and strange moment happened to Luffy while he was unconscious. 

Part of Luffy's head seemed to melt. 

In addition, we also see how smoke or steam comes out of Luffy's mouth. 

It's still unknown what happened to Luffy next, but it's unlikely that Luffy died.

So, what happens in the next chapter? 

Chapter 1044 itself is titled “Liberation Warrior” or “Freedom Fighter.” 

The chapter opens by showing Luffy's allies – Sanji, Kid, Law, Hyougoro, and Marco – who can feel Luffy's presence again. 

They say that Luffy is still alive. The moment then shifted to Mary Geoise.

In Mary Geoise, we again see the conversation that took place between the Gorosei. 

The conversation revealed the fact that the World Government has always been trying to get the Gomu Gomu no Mi devil fruit in the last 800 years. 

However, for the last 800 years their efforts to get the devil fruit have always failed.

The Gorosei felt that the devil fruit seemed to be able to escape from them when they tried to be chased. 

According to one of the Gorosei, it wasn't something crazy. The reason is, Zoan type devil fruits have a mind of their own. 

The most surprising fact emerges in the middle of this chapter.

According to Gorosei, it turns out that the Gomu Gomu no Mi devil fruit is not his real name. 

His real name is Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Nika. 

The devil fruit turns out to be not a Paramecia type as we know it, but a Zoan type and is a mythological Zoan type devil fruit. 

We also then see how the situation is between Hiyori and Orochi.

At that moment, Hiyori/Komurasaki finally showed her true face by removing the mask she was wearing. 

The story then shifted to the figure of Luffy. Luffy then came back to his senses, and he also said that what happened to his body as Gear 5, and is his strongest ability at this time. 

Gear 5's own abilities are truly extraordinary.

Luffy is able to jump very high. 

The shape or appearance of Gear 5 Luffy is very similar to the silhouette of Nika shown earlier. 

His body was still flexible and elastic like rubber. 

We also saw the continuation of the fight between Luffy and Kaido, and the fight between them happened again.

Luffy then brought Kaido back upstairs. 

In fact, Luffy then attacked Kaido in a brutal way. 

Kaido himself was really surprised by the situation. 

When Kaido tried to counter Luffy's attack by spitting out Boro Breath, Luffy then grabbed the ground and turned into rubber to counter Kaido's attack. 

The good news is that there is no pause for next week, which means chapter 1045 will appear as scheduled, which is March 29, 2022.
