5 Anime by Makoto Shinkai with Stunning Graphics

Makoto Shinkai is an anime writer and director who is well-known among anime lovers.

From there, every day when it rains they meet and become close.

3. Kimi no Nawa


Being one of Makoto Shinkai's successful films has many fans, Kimi no Nawa or Your Name tells the story of two teenagers with a fantasy spice in it. 

Miyamizu Mitsuha is a high school girl in a village, while Tachibana Taki is a high school student in a town.


One day they get into a strange situation by swapping bodies, they live life as other people and it happens time and time again. 

Until finally they realized what was happening and began to have a sense of love.

When he decides to meet, Taki finds out that the village where Mitsuha lives has been destroyed several years ago due to a meteor that hit Earth. 

Taki also tries to save the village through Mitsuha so that all the villagers are safe.

4. Tenki no Ko


Three years after the release of Kimi no Nawa, the film Tenki no Ko or Weathering With You has again stolen the attention of Makoto Shinkai film fans. 

This film tells the story of a man, namely Hodaka Morishima who goes to Tokyo to try his luck. 

Meanwhile, Hina Amano is an orphaned girl who works to support herself and a younger sister. The two of them met because of an incident.

Hodaka realizes Hina's specialty that can make the rainy weather in Tokyo bright instantly. 

They also use it as a job to help people to be able to do activities that require sunny weather in the middle of Tokyo, which is entering the rainy season.

Investigating, it turns out that what Hina did had a bad impact, after that Tokyo was hit by floods because the rain didn't stop. 

It is said that Hina must disappear from that world if she does not want Tokyo to sink. 

One day Hina suddenly disappeared from Earth, but Hodaka tried to find her because he realized he had fallen in love.

5. Hoshi wo Ou Kodomo


The film, which was released in 2011, tells the story of the adventures of a girl, Watase Asuna, in exploring the land of Agartha. 

Asuna is a student who likes to spend time after school on a hill. Often he heard strange sounds there using his radio.

One day he meets Shun, the boy from Agartha who saves him from a vicious creature. 

A few days later, Asuna was told that Shun had died and she felt sad.

Asuna then meets a new teacher at her school, they both have an interest in the land of Agartha, the land where one can raise humans from the dead. 

His guru had a desire to go to Agartha land to raise his wife from the dead.

One day, Asuna met the teacher on the hill as a member of the Arch Angel. 

They also managed to enter the land of Agartha using Shin's clavis, Shun's twin brother. 

But it turns out, exploring the land of Agartha is not as easy as imagined.
