I Will Find You: Harlan Coben's First US-Based Netflix Thriller Drops June 18

If you're a fan of Harlan Coben adaptations — and let's be honest, who isn't at this point — Netflix has something massive coming your way. I Will Find You, the streamer's latest Coben adaptation, premieres on June 18, 2026, and this one might just be the most exciting entry in the entire franchise so far.

Why This One Feels Different

Here's what makes I Will Find You stand out: it's the first Harlan Coben Netflix adaptation set in the United States. Every previous series — from Fool Me Once and Stay Close to The Stranger and Missing You — was set in the UK or other international locations. This time, Coben's 2023 novel is getting the American treatment, and that's a game-changer for fans who've been craving stateside Coben content.

The show is adapted for television by Robert Hull, known for his work on Quantum Leap and Alcatraz. Hull clearly brought his A-game, assembling what might be the strongest ensemble cast in any Coben Netflix adaptation to date.

Starring Sam Worthington (yes, the Avatar guy) as David Burroughs, the story follows a man serving a false life sentence for the murder of his own son. When he discovers there's a chance his son might actually still be alive, he makes the only choice he can — breaking out of prison to find him. It's the kind of desperate, edge-of-your-seat premise that Coben does best.

An All-Star Cast That's Hard to Beat

The supporting cast is absolutely stacked. Joining Worthington are:

  • Britt Lower from Severance — her presence alone is a massive draw
  • Milo Ventimiglia, best known for This Is Us and Gilmore Girls
  • Logan Browning from Dear White People
  • Jonathan Tucker of Kingdom and Westworld fame
  • Chi McBride and Clancy Brown, both legendary character actors
  • Erin Richards and Madeleine Stowe rounding out the ensemble

As showrunner Robert Hull put it: "The cast we've assembled is nothing short of phenomenal. Any one of these incredible artists would be a dream on their own." And honestly? He's not wrong.

The Bigger Picture: Coben's Netflix Empire

I Will Find You arrives after Run Away dropped earlier this year, and it's not the only Coben project in the pipeline — The Woods is currently in production. But let's take a moment to appreciate how far this partnership has come. Coben has now had eight non-English adaptations on Netflix, including Safe, The Innocent, Gone for Good, and Hold Tight. The man is basically Netflix's go-to thriller architect at this point.

The eight-episode limited series drops all at once on Netflix on June 18. So mark your calendars, clear your weekend, and prepare for another Coben-style binge that'll have you questioning everyone around you.

Will David Burroughs find his son? Can a wrongfully convicted man escape the system? You'll just have to watch to find out. (See what we did there?)
