Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 249 Spoiler: Maki and the Strategy to Defeat Sukuna

Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 249 Spoiler

Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 249 is sure to bring something interesting for its readers. In the previous chapter, Yuta arrived to assist Yuji in the battle against Sukuna.

As you know, initially, Yuta wasn't immediately assigned to join the others in facing Sukuna. Yuta was tasked with Takaba to kill Kenjaku.

After a long battle between Kenjaku and Takaba, Kenjaku became careless.

Yuta successfully slashed Kenjaku's neck. Shortly after that, he headed straight to where his other comrades were fighting Sukuna.

Yuta's arrival, of course, brought a breath of fresh air to the modern jujutsu sorcerers because one of their main weapons, Higuruma, had just been defeated.

Even though Higuruma managed to acquire a sword that could effectively kill Sukuna, it didn't take long for Sukuna to defeat him.

When Yuji was in a difficult situation, Yuta suddenly appeared and summoned Rika to aid him in the fight.

Here's where it might start feeling odd, right? It's evident that the modern jujutsu sorcerers are pulling out all the stops to fight Sukuna.

But there's still one of their strongest who hasn't shown herself yet. That person is Maki.

Maki's current strength is nothing to be underestimated; she's now considered equal to or even surpassing Toji's strength.

With that kind of power, it seems unlikely for Maki not to be deployed directly to fight Sukuna.

Unless they have another plan. And I have my own thoughts about this – maybe they plan to defeat Sukuna in the exact same way they used to defeat Kenjaku.

Simple but proven effective: diverting his attention and delivering a fatal strike when he's off guard.

But can Maki directly kill Sukuna? Certainly. She has a replica of Toji's weapon that can directly sever the soul of its target.

Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 249 Spoiler

She used this weapon when facing the cursed spirit form of Naoya. But what about Megumi? Won't he die then? No, he won't.

You might recall in Chapter 222 that Yuji successfully swapped bodies with Kusakabe.

And perhaps Yuji's cursed technique involves soul manipulation where he can temporarily transfer his own or someone else's soul.

So, before Maki kills Sukuna, Megumi's soul might be temporarily transferred by Yuji.

This is just my speculation, not 100% accurate. So, let's wait and see how the continuation of this series unfolds.
