100 Days of Deception: Kim You-jung & Park Jin-young's Spy Thriller Hits Netflix Oct 10

100 Days of Deception K-drama

A new period K-drama is coming for your fall

Netflix is about to add another must-watch K-drama to its roster, and this one has star power written all over it. 100 Days of Deception (formerly 100 Days of Lies) is a romantic-action thriller that will stream globally on Netflix starting October 10, 2026 — and it's already generating serious buzz. The cast is stacked with Kim You-jung, Park Jin-young, Kim Hyun-joo, and Jin Seon-kyu.

Directed by Yoo In-shik and written by Ryu Bo-ri, the 16-episode series follows Ga Kyung, a genius pickpocket caught in the Japanese occupation of Korea. She goes undercover as a spy at the Japanese Government-General — but things get complicated fast when she starts feeding vital intel to the independence army. It's espionage, tension, and romance all tangled together, airing weekly on Saturdays and Sundays with episodes around 70 minutes each, wrapping up November 29.

Why you should be hyped

Kim You-jung has been one of the most reliable leading ladies in K-drama since Moon Embrace the Sun, and Park Jin-young keeps proving he can carry action and charm in equal measure. Add a period spy backdrop that Netflix has been nailing lately, and you've got a recipe for a global hit. If the weekly-drama model works the way TVN intends, this could easily be the K-drama everyone's talking about this fall.

What else is coming to K-drama streaming

  • The Scandal — Son Ye-jin & Ji Chang-wook on Netflix Sept 18
  • Four Hands, Two Sonatas — Song Kang's piano rivalry
  • Netflix, Hulu, and Prime Video all loading up major Fall K-drama slates

Mark October 10 on your calendar. The deception is about to begin.
