"Four Hands, Two Sonatas" is an upcoming youth music drama from tvN that's set to premiere on Netflix on August 29, 2026. Song Kang stars alongside Lee Jun-young (D.P., Love and Leashes) in a story set at an elite arts high school for musical prodigies.

The title itself is a clever piano reference — "four hands" is the technique where two pianists play a single piano together. The series follows two gifted musicians from vastly different backgrounds who are forced to collaborate, leading to an unlikely friendship (and, naturally, plenty of drama).

What We Know So Far

The newly released poster shows Song Kang and Lee Jun-young seated at a grand piano, their chemistry already palpable. tvN has teased that the show will explore themes of rivalry, artistic passion, and healing through music — a refreshing change from the typical K-drama rom-com formula.

Song Kang's last appearance was in "My Demon" (2023-2024) opposite Kim Yoo-jung, which became a global Netflix hit. Since then, fans have been eagerly awaiting his next project. "Four Hands, Two Sonatas" marks his first major role since completing his mandatory military service.
