Netflix October 2026 Lineup Is Absolutely Loaded — Here's Everything Worth Watching

From Florence Pugh to Cyberpunk — Netflix's October Is Stacked

Netflix just dropped its full October 2026 slate and honestly? This might be their strongest month of the entire year. Between prestige drama, anime sequels, horror originals, and a Daniel Craig murder mystery, there's something for literally everyone.

Let's break down the heavy hitters you absolutely cannot miss.

The Big Premieres

East of Eden starring Florence Pugh is the headline act, and early buzz is calling it a potential Oscar contender. Pugh takes on the role of Cathy Ames in this ambitious Steinbeck adaptation, and if the trailer is any indication, she's delivering career-best work. The limited series format gives the sprawling novel room to breathe.

Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery brings Daniel Craig back as detective Benoit Blanc for his third outing, this time joined by Josh O'Connor and Cailee Spaeny. Director Rian Johnson has promised his "darkest case yet," and the gothic manor setting already has us hooked.

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Season 2 is finally here after years of fan demand. Studio Trigger returns to animate another story set in CD Projekt Red's Night City universe, with a new cast of characters and a fresh storyline that promises even more neon-drenched chaos.

Horror Season Is Here

It's October, so naturally Netflix is going all-in on horror. Monster Season 4 continues Ryan Murphy's true crime anthology, while The Whisper Man — based on Alex North's bestselling thriller — is getting the limited series treatment with a cast that hasn't been fully revealed yet but is rumored to include some major names.

American Horror Story: 13 is also dropping new episodes on Hulu (available through the Netflix bundle deal), with Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk pushing the franchise into genuinely unsettling new territory.

Add in Jacob Tremblay's UNABOMBER series, a new season of The Great British Baking Show, and a surprise A Different World reboot, and you've got a month where canceling plans to stay on the couch feels completely justified. Happy streaming, folks.
