Druski Signs Multi-Year Netflix Mega-Deal: Satirical Series 'Collect & Praise' Set to Disrupt Comedy

From Viral Internet Sketches to Streaming Royalty: Druski Takes Over Netflix

Internet comedy titan Drew 'Druski' Desbordes has officially leveled up into Hollywood's major leagues. Netflix Chief Content Officer Bela Bajaria has inked an exclusive, multi-year overall development deal with Druski’s 4Lifers Entertainment. Kicking off this ambitious streaming partnership is Collect & Praise, an original half-hour satirical comedy series inspired by Druski’s beloved viral sketches mocking charismatic megachurch culture, co-starring veteran comedy legend Mike Epps.

Turning Internet Culture into Premium Narrative Television

Druski’s meteoric ascent over the past few years has reshaped how the entertainment industry views digital comedy creators. From his legendary Coulda Been Records auditions to his razor-sharp parodies of corporate executives and flashy motivational speakers, Desbordes possesses a rare ear for cultural nuances. In Collect & Praise, Druski steps into the tailored designer suits of Pastor David Montgomery, a wildly ambitious preacher juggling runaway church finances, eccentric congregation members, and lavish personal controversies.

Pairing Druski with veteran comedic heavyweight Mike Epps ensures the series delivers seasoned improvisational energy. Behind the camera, established showrunners and writers from hit satire series like The Righteous Gemstones and Atlanta have been brought in to ground the over-the-top gags with sharp storytelling and character depth.

Why Netflix Is Betting Big on Creator-Driven Comedy

For millennial viewers who grew up sharing Druski’s clips on Instagram and TikTok, the transition to serialized television is a natural evolution. Traditional network sitcoms have struggled to retain younger demographics, but Netflix recognizes that creators who cultivate authentic digital fanbases hold unmatched cultural leverage.

Under the multi-year deal, Druski will not only star in Collect & Praise but will also develop unscripted comedy formats, feature films, and stand-up showcases for emerging voices. It marks a decisive shift in how streaming platforms discover and finance comedy in 2026, placing digital native voices directly in the writer’s room driver seat.

Looking Ahead

Druski’s partnership with Netflix marks a milestone moment in the creator economy. With Collect & Praise pairing Druski and Mike Epps, subscribers are in for an unapologetic, hilarious satire that skewers modern prosperity culture with infectious energy and sharp millennial wit.
